Pakistan Dismisses Indian Allegations of Cross-Border Attacks as Fabricated Propaganda

Pakistan categorically rejected what it described as baseless allegations and malicious propaganda by Indian media, accusing Islamabad of orchestrating attacks in Pathankot, Jaisalmer, and Srinagar—calling the claims entirely fabricated, provocative, and part of a reckless disinformation campaign.

In a sharply worded statement, the Foreign Office said the dissemination of such unfounded accusations without any credible investigation reflects a premeditated attempt by India to malign Pakistan, destabilize the region, and manufacture justification for aggressive posturing.

“These allegations are not only devoid of truth but also reflect a dangerous mindset aimed at escalating tensions in an already volatile region,” said the spokesperson. “India’s conduct is deeply irresponsible and a threat to regional peace.”

The spokesperson stressed that Pakistan remains fully committed to peace but will not allow any misadventure to go unanswered. “Pakistan retains the right to respond resolutely and comprehensively to any act violating its sovereignty and territorial integrity,” the statement said.

Calling upon the international community to take serious notice, the Foreign Office urged global and regional organizations to hold India accountable for its incendiary rhetoric and destabilizing tactics.

“Pakistan will neither be intimidated by hollow threats nor deceived by diversionary propaganda. Our commitment to peace must not be mistaken for weakness. Any provocation will be met with an unwavering and proportionate response,” the spokesperson emphasized.

Security sources also dismissed the Indian media’s reports of alleged attacks in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) as outright fabrications. “These so-called attacks are fictitious and serve no purpose other than to build a false narrative that justifies India’s continued aggression against Pakistan,” the sources stated.

They warned that the systematic spread of fake news by Indian outlets is a deliberate strategy to frame Pakistan for actions it has not committed, thereby generating false legitimacy for India’s hostile policies in the region.

“By weaponizing disinformation, India is not only misleading its own people but also threatening regional stability,” the sources added. “Pakistan will continue to expose such deceitful tactics before the international community.”

This comes amid heightened tensions, with Indian media outlets increasingly circulating unverified and sensationalist claims—an approach Pakistan sees as both reckless and dangerous.
