In a powerful display of military readiness and air defense superiority, Pakistan’s armed forces shot down at least 80 Indian drones on Saturday, thwarting a series of hostile aerial incursions across multiple regions of the country. All key military and civilian installations, including airbases and airports, remained fully secure as Pakistani forces responded with precision and dominance.
According to security officials, the Indian drones targeted sensitive areas including Sialkot, Sukkur, Rahim Yar Khan, Toba Tek Singh, and Sheikhupura. However, Pakistan’s defense forces acted swiftly and decisively, eliminating the aerial threats before they could cause any damage.
In Sialkot, several Indian drones were intercepted as they attempted to breach national airspace. Pakistani troops successfully downed the drones near the Purtanwali area, recovering the wreckage for further analysis. A similar breach near Sukkur Airport was repelled with force, as a drone was destroyed near the adjoining airbase without any loss of life or property.
In Toba Tek Singh, Indian attempts to target the strategically important Rafiqui Airbase were completely neutralized. Three drones were taken down mid-air near Pir Mahal, with debris falling in fields close to the village of Pir Garhiana. Fires sparked by the wreckage were quickly extinguished by emergency responders.
Security forces also destroyed an Indian drone in Sheikhupura’s Jaisinghwala area near Narang Mandi. The wreckage, which landed in a field outside the populated zone, led to a small fire which was swiftly brought under control. Rescue and bomb disposal units were immediately deployed to secure the site.
In Rahim Yar Khan, Pakistani forces downed more than three Indian drones, with one crashing within the premises of Sheikh Zayed International Airport. Security agencies promptly sealed off the area and secured the remains.
Throughout the day, Pakistan’s military maintained full operational readiness as Indian drones continued provocative attempts to violate Pakistani airspace. Each incursion was met with a firm and overwhelming response, reinforcing Pakistan’s resolve to defend its sovereignty at all costs.
Security sources confirmed that since the morning, the total number of Indian drones destroyed had reached 80 — a clear message to New Delhi that any misadventure will be answered with decisive force.
Pakistan’s Armed Forces have reiterated that the country’s territorial integrity is non-negotiable and warned that further aggression would invite even more severe consequences.
