Pakistan Denounces Baseless Comments by Indian Foreign Minister, Reaffirms Defensive Resolve

Pakistan has strongly condemned the recent statements made by India’s Foreign Minister, describing them as provocative, baseless, and irresponsible. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), through its spokesperson, Mr. Tahir Andarabi, unequivocally rejected the comments, emphasizing Pakistan’s stance as a responsible state committed to safeguarding its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Spokesperson Andarabi stated that all national institutions, including Pakistan’s Armed Forces, remain steadfast pillars of national security, dedicated at all times to protecting the motherland. He underscored that Pakistan’s military has consistently demonstrated high professional standards, particularly during the May 2025 tensions, when the Armed Forces responded with measured yet resolute defensive actions against Indian aggression, earning recognition worldwide. He stressed that no propaganda or misrepresentation can alter this fact.

The Foreign Office noted that attempts by Indian leadership to malign Pakistan’s state institutions and leadership are part of a calculated campaign aimed at diverting attention from India’s destabilizing activities in the region and state-sponsored terrorism within Pakistan. Such provocative narratives exemplify India’s disregard for peace and stability in South Asia.

Spokesperson Andarabi further stated that instead of making unfounded assertions about Pakistan’s Armed Forces, India should reflect on the Hindutva ideology, which has fostered extrajudicial killings, violent campaigns, arbitrary detentions, and the desecration of places of worship within its own territory. Both the Indian state and its leadership have become captive to this ideology, which fuels religious extremism and domestic instability.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to dialogue, diplomacy, and mutual coexistence. At the same time, it stressed that Pakistan remains fully united and resolute in defending its national interests, sovereignty, and the security of its people.
