Pakistan has categorically denied granting the United States or Israel access to its airspace, territory, or waters for military operations against Iran, following American airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities on the night of June 21.
In a statement issued by the Foreign Office, Pakistan condemned the strikes and reiterated its policy of non-involvement in foreign military conflicts. The government emphasized that it has not permitted, and will not permit, its territory to be used in any capacity for such actions.
“Pakistan remains firmly committed to regional peace and will not become part of someone else’s war or bloc politics,” the statement said.
The government also underscored its consistent and vocal opposition to Israeli aggression, reaffirming its political, moral, and diplomatic support for Iran. “Iran has every right under international law to defend itself,” the Foreign Office added.
While reiterating its own commitment to sovereignty and territorial integrity, Pakistan called on all parties to pursue de-escalation and diplomacy. “We have maintained active engagement with relevant stakeholders to encourage a peaceful resolution and prevent further hostilities,” the statement said.
Pakistan stressed the urgency of restoring stability through meaningful dialogue, emphasising that peace must be sustainable, dignified, and mutually agreed upon. “There is no military solution to this conflict. The only viable path forward is diplomacy,” the statement concluded.
As tensions rise in the Middle East, Islamabad’s clear message is that it will not allow its soil to become a launchpad for foreign wars, and that dialogue, not force, is the only path to lasting peace.
