Pakistan Declares Indian Diplomat Persona Non Grata over Undesirable Activities

Pakistan has declared another official of the Indian High Commission as persona non grata and directed him to leave the country within 24 hours due to activities incompatible with his diplomatic status.

According to the Foreign Office, the Indian diplomat was found involved in suspicious activities that contravened diplomatic norms and protocols. The Indian Chargé d’Affaires was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and officially informed of the decision.

This development comes in response to a similar move by India, which earlier ordered a Pakistani diplomat to leave within 24 hours. The Pakistani diplomat was accused of involvement in activities allegedly violating diplomatic regulations.

The Pakistani Chargé d’Affaires was summoned to the Indian Ministry of External Affairs regarding the matter. The affected Pakistani official was serving in the visa department of the High Commission.

Both developments underscore heightened diplomatic tensions between the two countries, with mutual expulsions adding to the strain in bilateral relations.
