The 268th Corps Commanders’ Conference (CCC), chaired by Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir at GHQ, concluded with a strong resolve to eliminate terrorism and counter foreign-backed destabilization efforts in Pakistan.

The forum began by honoring the sacrifices of martyrs from the armed forces, law enforcement agencies, and civilians who laid down their lives for the nation’s security. A detailed assessment of Pakistan’s security challenges was presented, with the military leadership reaffirming its commitment to root out terrorism “at any cost.”

General Munir declared that Pakistan would not allow hostile elements to disrupt peace in Balochistan or elsewhere. “Foreign-sponsored proxies, their local enablers, and so-called political actors exploiting instability for personal gain will face the full force of the state,” he stated. The COAS warned that no leniency would be shown to those undermining national security.

The forum also endorsed Vision Azm-e-Istehkam, emphasizing a nationwide approach under the National Action Plan (NAP). District Coordination Committees have been activated to ensure swift implementation, with the military pledging full support to the government in cracking down on terror financing through illegal economic activities.

The commanders expressed grave concern over human rights abuses in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and repeated ceasefire violations by Indian forces. “Pakistan will continue its diplomatic and moral support for Kashmir’s rightful struggle,” the COAS asserted.

Additionally, the forum strongly condemned Israel’s atrocities in Gaza, reiterating Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause. “The world must act against these war crimes,” the military leadership urged.

General Munir directed commanders to maintain peak combat readiness through rigorous training. He emphasized that Pakistan’s armed forces, in collaboration with civil institutions, would ensure stability and prosperity while thwarting all threats.

“The enemies of Pakistan, both foreign and domestic, are exposed. Their time is over,” the COAS concluded.
