Rawalpindi: The Pakistan Army successfully shot down a second Indian quad-copter on Tuesday along the Line of Control (LoC), highlighting increasing provocations by Indian forces in border regions.

According to security sources, the latest incident occurred in the Satwal sector, where a Phantom 4 drone operated by the Indian Army was intercepted while conducting surveillance inside Pakistani territory. Earlier the same day, another Indian quad-copter was downed in the Manawar sector of Bhimber.

Military experts see these repeated airspace violations as deliberate and provocative actions by the Indian side. “Such irresponsible moves by the Indian military are heightening tensions in an already sensitive environment and are clear attempts to sabotage regional peace,” said a senior defence analyst.

The swift action taken by the Pakistan Army was praised by experts as a testament to the military’s vigilance, professionalism, and operational readiness. “Every Indian attempt at aggression will meet a firm and timely response,” a military spokesperson affirmed.

Incidents involving the downing of Indian surveillance drones have become increasingly frequent in recent years, underscoring a growing pattern of low-intensity conflict along the LoC.

Pakistan continues to call on India to respect ceasefire agreements and refrain from actions that endanger peace and stability in the region.
