Pakistan Armed Forces Shoot Down 25 Israeli-Made Harop Drones Amid Escalating Indian Hostilities: ISPR

he Pakistan Armed Forces have successfully neutralized 25 Israeli-manufactured Harop drones through a combination of soft-kill (technical) and hard-kill (weapons-based) countermeasures, according to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The escalation follows a night-time Indian offensive on May 6/7, during which Pakistan retaliated with precision, destroying five advanced Indian fighter jets, multiple drone systems, and several military posts along the Line of Control (LoC), inflicting significant losses. In the aftermath of these setbacks, Indian forces—gripped by panic and disarray—resorted to drone incursions using Israeli-made Harop systems.

Debris from these downed drones has been recovered from various regions across Pakistan, confirming the use of foreign-made UAVs in the ongoing confrontation.

Military officials stated that these drone attacks reflect India’s growing desperation and confusion in the face of Pakistan’s robust defence response. “The Pakistan Armed Forces remain fully alert and are delivering a decisive blow to the enemy’s aggressive designs,” said an ISPR spokesperson.

The Armed Forces reaffirmed their resolve to continue thwarting all hostile attempts and to safeguard Pakistan’s sovereignty with full force and precision.
