Pakistan’s security forces carried out precision air operations targeting key military installations associated with the interim Taliban administration in Afghanistan, security sources said.
According to reports, the latest strikes by the Pakistan Air Force targeted major military facilities in Kabul, Kandahar, and Paktia provinces.
Security sources claimed that the airstrikes destroyed:
Two brigade headquarters in Kabul
One corps headquarters and one brigade headquarters in Kandahar
An ammunition storage facility and logistics base in Kandahar
One corps headquarters facility in Paktia
Officials described the strikes as precision aerial operations targeting military infrastructure rather than civilian areas.
Authorities said the actions were taken in response to reported security threats along frontier regions and are part of ongoing defensive readiness posture maintained by Pakistan Army.
Further operational assessment is expected as intelligence verification continues.
