Pakistan Air Force is a Highly Advanced, Technology-Driven and Strong Fighting Force: Naval Chief

Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf stated that the Pakistan Air Force is a modern, technology-driven and highly capable fighting force, as he attended the Graduation Parade of GD(P)-152 and Allied Courses held at PAF Academy Risalpur.

The solemn and prestigious ceremony was attended by senior military leadership, including Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu, who also graced the occasion alongside the Naval Chief as Guest of Honour.

Upon arrival, Admiral Naveed Ashraf reviewed the parade and witnessed the commissioning of graduating cadets, who took their oath of service during the ceremony. Outstanding performers among the graduating cohort were awarded distinctions in recognition of their academic, professional, and leadership excellence.

Addressing the ceremony, the Naval Chief congratulated the graduating cadets and highlighted the distinguished legacy of those passing out from Pakistan’s premier air training institution. He noted that graduates of the academy have historically played a vital role in strengthening the operational capabilities of the armed forces.

He emphasized that the Pakistan Air Force has consistently demonstrated exceptional performance in modern warfare domains, particularly in the areas of cyber operations and electronic warfare. Referring to recent operational experiences, he stated that the Air Force had effectively showcased its capabilities during “Operation Haq,” underscoring its technological edge and operational readiness.

Admiral Naveed Ashraf further remarked that the Pakistan Navy continues to play a crucial role in safeguarding the country’s maritime frontiers and remains fully prepared to respond decisively to any form of aggression.

He also highlighted broader regional and global security dynamics, noting that tensions such as the Iran–United States dispute and disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz had impacted global energy supply chains. In this context, he stressed that Pakistan’s armed forces remain vigilant and capable of addressing emerging security challenges.

The Naval Chief acknowledged the role of national unity in supporting counterterrorism efforts, stating that with the support of the people, Pakistan’s armed forces continue to effectively counter terrorism across the country.

He further noted that coordinated efforts by Pakistan’s civil and military leadership have contributed to de-escalation and ceasefire arrangements in parts of the Middle East, reflecting the importance of diplomacy in maintaining regional stability.

At the conclusion of his address, Admiral Naveed Ashraf expressed appreciation for the participation of the Air Chief Marshal and commended the professionalism and dedication of the graduating cadets, urging them to uphold the highest traditions of service, integrity, and excellence.
