In a decisive and highly effective military operation, the Pakistan Army successfully destroyed oil storage sites at Kandahar Airfield on the nights of 12 and 13 March 2026, as part of Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq, according to official security sources.
The operation targeted strategic facilities reportedly used by the Afghan Taliban and associated Khawarij terrorist organizations to fuel their illicit activities and terrorist operations. Security sources confirmed that the attacks were conducted with precision, utilizing Pakistan Army’s advanced operational capabilities to neutralize these high-value targets.
Available video footage of the operation clearly shows the pre- and post-strike conditions of the targeted sites, illustrating the intensity of the operation and its significant impact on the enemy’s logistical infrastructure. Officials highlighted that the destruction of these oil storage facilities is expected to disrupt the operational capabilities of terrorist networks operating in the region.
Security sources underlined that Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq will continue until all strategic objectives are achieved. The Pakistan Army remains fully prepared to carry out sustained operations against terrorist organizations and their facilitators, employing the full range of its capabilities to eliminate threats before they can harm Pakistani citizens or destabilize the region.
Officials reaffirmed that these operations are part of a broader national strategy to maintain peace, security, and stability in the region, and to ensure that terrorist networks are denied the resources and infrastructure necessary to carry out their attacks.
