Pakistan conducted precision airstrikes inside Afghanistan targeting militant infrastructure linked to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), security sources confirmed.

Military sources said the operation was carried out last night based on credible intelligence. The strikes targeted seven militant centres across three Afghan provinces, including Nangarhar Province, Paktika Province, and Khost Province.

According to security officials, seven TTP facilities were destroyed during the operation. These included:

New Centre No. 1 – Nangarhar

New Centre No. 2 – Nangarhar

Khwarij Maulvi Abbas Centre – Khost

Khwarij Islam Centre – Nangarhar

Khwarij Ibrahim Centre – Nangarhar

Khwarij Mullah Rehbar Centre – Paktika

Khwarij Mukhlis Yar Centre – Paktika

Military sources reported that more than 80 militants were killed, and the number of casualties may rise as further assessment continues.

Security authorities stated that the operation was based on highly reliable intelligence to ensure the destruction of militant command and training nodes.

Officials added that the targeted locations were exclusively militant facilities and no civilian infrastructure was struck.

Authorities also indicated that post-strike surveillance and assessment operations are continuing to verify the extent of damage and casualty figures.

The airstrikes are part of Pakistan’s ongoing counterterrorism response to militant activities originating from cross-border networks.
