Pakistan’s security forces have intensified ongoing operations in the Kurram sector, targeting hostile positions associated with Afghan Taliban elements and fighters linked to Fitna al-Khawarij, according to security sources. The operation, conducted under the banner of Operation Ghazab Lil Haq, is aimed at neutralizing threats posed by hostile elements operating along sensitive border areas and ensuring the security of local communities and national territory.
Security sources confirmed that multiple hostile posts have been subjected to sustained and heavy fire by Pakistan Army units, employing both tank and mortar support in a coordinated operational response. The strikes were carried out following what officials described as unprovoked aggression from across positions held by the hostile elements.
According to preliminary operational assessments, the carefully planned and professionally executed action by Pakistan’s security forces has significantly degraded the operational capability of several enemy posts. The precise targeting of these positions has disrupted hostile infrastructure and limited the ability of these elements to mount further aggressive actions.
Sources indicated that Afghan Taliban elements and fighters associated with Fitna al-Khawarij are reportedly facing setbacks across multiple locations in the area as a result of the sustained pressure applied by Pakistani forces.
Military officials emphasized that the operation is being conducted with strict adherence to professional military standards and strategic planning, ensuring that hostile threats are addressed effectively while maintaining operational discipline.
Security authorities further noted that the objective of the ongoing operation is to prevent cross-border hostilities, dismantle militant positions that threaten Pakistan’s security, and maintain stability in the border regions.
