The Pakistan Armed Forces continue to conduct decisive ground and air operations under Operation Ghazab Lil Haq, targeting Afghan Taliban and Khawarij militants along the Pak–Afghan border, according to security sources. The operation demonstrates Pakistan’s sustained commitment to eliminating terrorist threats and securing its borders.
In a significant development, Pakistani forces successfully destroyed an ammunition depot at Shaheen Base in Paktika, delivering a major blow to militant operational capabilities. Security officials report that this strike disrupted the storage and distribution of weapons and explosives, undermining the militants’ ability to conduct attacks in the region.
Multiple militant hideouts and military installations associated with the Afghan Taliban and Khawarij groups are being systematically targeted. Security sources emphasize that these operations are conducted with precision, combining intelligence-led planning, ground maneuvers, and aerial support to neutralize threats while minimizing risks to civilians and Pakistan’s personnel.
Officials confirmed that Operation Ghazab Lil Haq is ongoing, with Pakistani forces maintaining pressure on insurgent networks and systematically dismantling their infrastructure. The operation will continue until all operational objectives are achieved and the region is cleared of militant threats.
Security authorities highlighted that these measures reflect Pakistan’s determination to safeguard its citizens, prevent cross-border attacks, and ensure lasting stability along the border regions. The armed forces remain vigilant, coordinating with local communities to monitor and report suspicious activities, and to secure the area from any potential resurgence of terrorist elements.
