Operation Ghazab Lil Haq Continues: Ammunition Depots and Drone Storage Facilities Destroyed in Khost and Jalalabad

Pakistan’s armed forces continue to conduct robust and sustained operations under Operation Ghazab Lil Haq in response to what officials describe as unprovoked aggression by the Afghan Taliban regime along the Pakistan–Afghanistan border.

Security sources on Monday stated that Pakistani forces are carrying out decisive retaliatory actions against hostile positions and infrastructure linked to the Afghan Taliban and affiliated militant elements. The operation, launched following cross-border hostilities on the night of 26 February, remains ongoing across multiple sectors.

According to security officials, Pakistani forces successfully destroyed a major ammunition depot in Khost used by Afghan Taliban elements and associated militants. In a separate but coordinated strike, additional ammunition storage facilities and a drone storage site in Jalalabad were also neutralized. The targeted strikes are described as precise and aimed at degrading the adversary’s operational capability.

Security sources further stated that Pakistani forces are systematically targeting militant hideouts, logistical hubs, and military installations believed to be supporting hostile actions along the frontier. Officials claim that following what they termed “unprovoked aggression” by Afghan Taliban forces, the opposing side is now facing significant setbacks across multiple fronts.

The operation was initiated after reported cross-border attacks by Afghan Taliban elements along the Pakistan–Afghanistan border on the night of Thursday, 26 February. In response, Pakistan’s armed forces launched coordinated ground and air operations targeting military infrastructure inside Afghan territory, including installations in Kabul, Kandahar, Paktia, and other locations. Several check posts were reportedly destroyed during these engagements.

Earlier, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar provided an operational update, stating that since the commencement of Operation Ghazab Lil Haq, 415 Afghan Taliban personnel have been killed and more than 580 injured. According to the figures released, 182 posts have been destroyed, 31 have been captured, and 185 tanks and armored vehicles have been neutralized. Air operations have reportedly targeted 46 separate locations.

These figures have not been independently verified, and there has been no immediate official response from Afghan Taliban authorities regarding the latest claims.

Officials emphasize that the operation is aimed at defending Pakistan’s territorial integrity and ensuring border stability. Military sources describe the actions as measured and proportionate responses to cross-border aggression.

The situation along the frontier remains fluid, with developments being closely monitored. Further updates are expected as Operation Ghazab Lil Haq continues.
