In a stunning display of military precision and strategic superiority, Pakistan launched Operation Bunyan Al-Marsous in the early hours of May 10, delivering a powerful and humiliating blow to India in response to its failed aggression. The operation marked a decisive turning point in the region, with Pakistan asserting unambiguous military dominance.
Shortly after the operation, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) and quoted a poignant verse by revolutionary poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz: “Jo woh qarz rakhte the jaan par, woh hisaab aaj chuka diya” — “The debt they owed with their lives—today, that account is settled.” The poetic message encapsulated Pakistan’s powerful response and the gravity of the price paid by the enemy.
As part of the operation, Pakistan Air Force successfully targeted and disabled several high-value Indian military airbases, including Udhampur, Adampur, and Pathankot. Each strike was carefully calculated to inflict maximum strategic damage, leaving India’s air defense infrastructure in disarray.
In a simultaneous cyber offensive, Pakistani operatives crippled Maharashtra’s state electricity grid, plunging large areas into darkness, while India’s military satellites were jammed—neutralizing their surveillance and communication capabilities. The digital blackout exposed India’s critical vulnerabilities.
Further deepening India’s humiliation, Pakistani drones flew uninterrupted over Gujarat, the home state of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, for several hours—an open challenge to Indian air defence that remained powerless to respond.
This overwhelming response came after repeated Indian provocations and cross-border violations. Pakistan’s message is now clear: any act of aggression will be met with overwhelming force, strategic mastery, and zero tolerance.
