In an intelligence-based operation in the Haider Khel area of Mir Ali, North Waziristan, security forces killed one militant and injured two others.
According to sources, as soon as the security forces approached, the militants opened fire, prompting a swift and effective counteraction by the forces. During the operation, a terrorist identified as Zia-ur-Rehman, also known as “Makhless,” was killed, while two others were injured.
Security sources revealed that the slain militant had been involved in target killings and other terrorist activities, and was a wanted individual by both security forces and the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD). During the operation, an SMG, hand grenades, and other weapons were recovered from the slain militant.
