In North Waziristan’s Norak Mursikhel area, Pakistan’s security forces carried out a successful intelligence-based operation, demolishing the house of notorious Khariji Nazirullah alias Faqeer. According to sources, the action was taken after confirmation of his involvement in multiple deadly attacks.

Nazirullah was reportedly linked to several IED attacks, including the September 24, 2018 blast near Palaseen Chowk, the January 30 and February 13, 2019 attacks targeting Malik Raimul Khan and Malik Abbas, and the March 20, 2019 assault on the Eidak post. He also fired on security forces in Norak on January 4, 2020, planted an IED at a security post on December 26, 2020, and was involved in an ambush on a military officer on September 1, 2023.

Following the operation, security forces recovered materials from the site and handed them over to the civil administration. ID cards belonging to Nazirullah and his family have been blocked, and verification is underway.

Officials say this action sends a clear message: the state will not tolerate Khawarij or their facilitators. Operations will continue until the last terrorist is brought to justice.
