In a series of successful intelligence-based operations (IBOs), Pakistan’s security forces neutralized nine Indian-sponsored terrorists from the outlawed group “Fitna Al Khwarij” across various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
In Lakki Marwat district, a targeted operation led by security personnel resulted in the elimination of five Khwarij terrorists. Based on credible intelligence, the troops swiftly engaged the enemy, effectively dismantling a major threat backed by hostile foreign elements.
Another operation in Bannu district led to the killing of two more Indian-backed terrorists. Acting on timely information, the security forces launched a precise offensive, ensuring minimal collateral and maximum impact.
In a separate and intense engagement in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan, Khwarij militants ambushed a security convoy. Pakistani troops retaliated with full force, successfully eliminating two terrorists. However, during the fierce exchange of fire, two brave sons of the nation — Sepoy Farhad Ali Turi (29, District Kurram) and Lance Naik Sabir Afridi (32, District Kohat) — embraced shahadat, sacrificing their lives in the line of duty.
Sanitization operations are currently ongoing to clear the area of any remaining terrorist elements. The armed forces reaffirmed their unwavering resolve to eradicate terrorism in all its forms and to defeat foreign-sponsored proxy warfare aimed at destabilizing Pakistan.
“The blood of our martyrs will not go in vain,” a military spokesperson stated. “Each sacrifice strengthens our national resolve to defeat those who dare threaten Pakistan’s peace.”
