Following the recent terrorist attack on the Federal Constabulary Headquarters in Peshawar, city police have issued new directives to all district police officers focusing on motorcycle riders.
The instructions note that terrorists and militants frequently use motorcycles to carry out attacks. Authorities have been ordered to take immediate action against riders operating unregistered motorcycles.
Police have been instructed to thoroughly search suspicious motorcycle riders, particularly those using veils, chadors, or other coverings. The identities of all riders must be verified, especially if they are not associated with any security company.
Officials said the measures are aimed at ensuring citizen safety and preventing potential terrorist activities before they occur.
