Nation United, Enemy Defeated: PM Shehbaz, President Zardari Warn India of Crushing Response

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday issued a resolute warning to India following what he called “cowardly and unprovoked attacks” on five locations inside Pakistan, declaring that the nation and its armed forces are fully prepared to defend every inch of the motherland and will never allow the enemy to succeed in its nefarious ambitions.

In a powerful statement shared on social media, the Prime Minister said, “Pakistan reserves the full right to respond to this war-like aggression imposed by India—and that response is already underway.” He emphasized that the people of Pakistan stand shoulder to shoulder with their armed forces, united in resolve, courage, and an unshakable determination to protect the country’s sovereignty.

“Our morale is high, our spirit unbreakable, and our response will be decisive,” the Prime Minister asserted. “The enemy will never succeed. The armed forces and the people of Pakistan know exactly how to confront and defeat those who dare to threaten us.”

President Asif Ali Zardari also issued a strong condemnation of the Indian aggression, particularly its targeting of civilian areas across the border, calling it a blatant violation of international norms and a provocation that cannot go unanswered.

“Pakistan will give a fitting, crushing response to India’s hostility,” the President declared. “This provocation will be met with absolute resolve and the full strength of our military. We will defend Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity at any cost.”

The statements by the country’s top civilian leadership come amid heightened tensions following cross-border hostilities. Both the Prime Minister and the President conveyed a unified national message: Pakistan seeks peace, but will never back down when its security is challenged.

The government has reiterated that any aggression against Pakistan will be met not only with military strength but also with the unwavering spirit of a united nation.
