Most-Wanted Terrorist Killed in Joint CTD–Police Operation in Karak

The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and district police killed a most-wanted terrorist during a successful joint operation in Banda Daud Shah area of Karak district, following an intense exchange of fire with a group of militants.

According to details, CTD and police personnel were present in the area when they encountered a group of terrorists, triggering heavy gunfire. The militants used automatic weapons during the engagement, leading to a sustained exchange of fire.

When the firing subsided, one terrorist was found dead on the spot. He was identified as Sulaiman alias Akram, a resident of Kohat. The slain militant was a key member of the Kaleemullah Tashkeel network and was wanted in several serious cases. Multiple FIRs had been registered against him, including charges of attacking Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) installations and involvement in several other acts of terrorism.

The Police and CTD reaffirmed their resolve to continue operations aimed at completely eradicating terrorism from the province, vowing that anti-state elements would not be allowed to jeopardize public safety.
