Mossad-RAW Nexus Unleashes Covert War on Iran in Operation Rising Lion

Israel’s June 13 airstrikes inside Iranian territory, codenamed Operation Rising Lion, have exposed a dangerous new phase in regional destabilisation, allegedly orchestrated through a covert alliance between Israel’s Mossad and India’s Research and Analysis Wing (RAW). Far from a solitary Israeli initiative, the operation is now believed to have been jointly executed through clandestine networks established under diplomatic cover — a move observers warn signals the escalation of a proxy war targeting the Muslim world.

According to credible regional intelligence sources, the attack on over 118 high-value Iranian military and nuclear-linked sites was made possible through real-time surveillance, drone logistics, and electromagnetic sabotage jointly coordinated by RAW’s Counter-Intelligence Terrorism and Jihad (CITJ) unit and Mossad’s forward teams. Key operations were reportedly staged under the diplomatic cover of India’s embassy in Tehran and the Indo-Iranian Chabahar Port project — both of which functioned as intelligence outposts less than 300 km from Iran’s Natanz and Fordow facilities.

RAW operatives, trained in high-tech sabotage, are believed to have facilitated the infiltration of Israeli Harop and SkyStriker kamikaze drones, Scorpius-G electronic warfare systems, and EMP devices. These assets were allegedly used to blind phased radar installations and disrupt Iran’s Kordad missile defense platforms, neutralising local air defenses ahead of targeted Israeli strikes.

“This was not simply a Mossad-led operation,” a senior intelligence analyst in the region remarked. “RAW’s embedded networks, strategic proximity, and logistical access were central to its success. It’s a textbook case of hybrid warfare masked as diplomacy.”

The Indo-Israeli intelligence partnership has a long shadowy history. In 1980, RAW and Mossad conspired to launch a joint airstrike on Pakistan’s Kahuta nuclear facility, aborted only after Pakistan’s retaliatory capability toward Israel’s Dimona reactor was exposed. In Iran’s Sistan-Balochistan region, RAW-operated safe houses in Dahedan and Mashhad have reportedly served for years as Mossad hubs tasked with assassinating IRGC commanders and Quds Force officers.

Analysts note that since the IAEA and U.S. intelligence lost operational presence inside Iran post-2021, Mossad has increasingly outsourced tactical surveillance to RAW. What began as intelligence-sharing has now reportedly evolved into joint execution of sabotage and assassination missions, using Indian diplomatic footprints as legal shields for espionage.

The Iranian government has yet to officially confirm the full scope of foreign involvement, but internal investigations are underway. Iranian security sources have indicated electromagnetic evidence and drone signatures linked to Israeli systems, with surveillance relays possibly originating from Indian-controlled assets.

Experts warn that Operation Rising Lion marks a watershed moment in covert warfare against Muslim-majority states — orchestrated by two of the region’s most hostile intelligence services. “India and Israel have crossed a dangerous line. Their alliance is no longer covert intelligence cooperation — it is operational collusion aimed at destabilising sovereign Muslim nations,” said a Middle Eastern defense strategist.

With global tensions rising, and Iran’s response still unfolding, the operation has ignited calls across the region for a strategic realignment to confront the Mossad-RAW axis, which now poses a growing threat to regional security under the camouflage of diplomacy and development.
