The number of people injured in a car bomb explosion in Miranshah has reached 13, including two children, hospital and security sources confirmed.
The blast occurred when an explosive-laden vehicle detonated near a civilian-populated area in the town earlier today.
Medical officials said the injured were swiftly transferred to nearby hospitals where they are receiving treatment. Several of the injured are reported to be in serious condition.
Security forces immediately reached the site, cordoned off the area, and launched a search operation to prevent any further threat and identify those responsible.
Authorities are closely monitoring the security situation in the region following the attack.
