The identity of the militant killed in a recent encounter in Bachkan Umarabad village, Lakki Marwat, has been confirmed as Adnan, also known as Saad. He was associated with the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan’s (TTP).
The militant, along with an accomplice, attempted to abduct a government employee but was thwarted by local residents. When the militants were ordered to surrender, they opened fire, prompting the locals to retaliate. In the ensuing clash, one militant was killed and another managed to flee the scene.
