Security forces have achieved a significant victory against terrorist elements in Shahban Valley, near Quetta, following an intelligence-based operation (IBO) informed by credible and actionable intelligence regarding the presence of Fitna Al Hindustan militants in the area.
According to initial reports, the operation successfully neutralized 30–33 terrorists, while 15–18 others sustained serious injuries. The targeted operation was part of ongoing efforts to disrupt terrorist networks and restore peace and stability in Balochistan.
The affected area has been fully cordoned off, with clearance and pursuit operations continuing to locate and eliminate any remaining threats. Security officials emphasized that the operation reflects the resolute commitment of Pakistan’s law enforcement and counter-terrorism agencies to eliminate terrorism in all its forms.
Authorities confirmed that the operation was carried out with precision and coordination among multiple security and intelligence agencies, underlining the professionalism and preparedness of the forces operating in the region. The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and affiliated security forces reaffirmed that intelligence-driven operations will continue across sensitive areas of Balochistan to prevent militant activity, dismantle terrorist networks, and ensure the safety and security of the public.
Security forces remain on high alert, continuing operations to apprehend or neutralize any remaining terrorists in Shahban Valley. Authorities urged the local population to cooperate with law enforcement agencies and report any suspicious activity to help maintain security in the region.
