The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has released a list of 22 most-wanted khawarij affiliated with Fitnah al-Khawarij, placing a combined bounty of Rs. 124 million on their heads. The announcement marks one of the most extensive bounty declarations in recent years, targeting terror operatives linked to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and associated networks operating primarily in Lakki Marwat.

Top Target: Commander Tipu Gul

At the top of the list is Tipu Gul, a local khawarij commander, whose head carries a reward of Rs. 10 million. He is believed to be involved in numerous deadly attacks against security forces and civilians in southern KP.

Bounties on 16 High-Profile Khawarij

According to CTD sources, Rs. 6 million each has been placed on the heads of 16 khawarij, namely:
Hafizu, Abdullah, Muhammad Tauseef, Qaiser, Najeebullah, Kaifi, Ali, Sarkati, Noorzai, Saadullah alias Badraka, Suleman, Zubair, Chamtu, Neko, Nasir, and Hikmatullah.

Additional Bounties on Five Khawarij

The CTD also announced:

  • Rs. 5 million bounty on Munawar Jan,

  • Rs. 4 million each on Abu Bakar, Ilham, and Ali,

  • Rs. 1 million bounty on Riaz.

Anonymous Informants to Be Rewarded

Police sources confirmed that informants’ identities will be kept strictly confidential, and the rewards will be given for information leading to the capture or confirmed death of the listed khawarij.

No Safe Haven for Terrorists

This public declaration signals the CTD’s heightened resolve to dismantle remaining terror networks operating within KP and bordering regions. Authorities have urged citizens to support the state’s counter-terrorism drive by sharing information anonymously.

The announcement comes amid increasing intelligence-led operations across KP and Balochistan following recent waves of externally sponsored attacks on civilians and security personnel, widely attributed to India-backed proxies.
