Kohat Police have revealed the scale of weapons, explosives, and narcotics seizures carried out during 2025 as part of intelligence-driven operations targeting terrorists, criminals, and drug traffickers.

During counter-terrorism and law enforcement raids, authorities recovered:

Weapons & Explosives:

577 Kalashnikov rifles

4,756 pistols

93 hand grenades

1,000 detonators

132.28 kilograms of explosive material

Narcotics:

300 kilograms of crystal meth (ice)

2,745 kilograms of cannabis (charas)

7.142 kilograms of heroin

5.768 kilograms of opium

840 bottles of tincture

Police officials emphasised that these seizures dealt a significant blow to criminal and terrorist networks, disrupting both arms smuggling and drug distribution in Kohaṭ and nearby districts.

The operations were conducted using precise intelligence and coordinated raids, ensuring maximum impact while minimising risks to civilians. Authorities highlighted that ongoing vigilance and public cooperation remain critical to maintaining law and order in the region.
