Taunsa Sharif: In a troubling development near the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa border, the Fitna Al-khwarij launched an assault on Basti Wajan, a village located near Lakhani. The attackers abducted two local residents during the raid and escaped towards the border area.
In addition to the kidnappings, the assailants set fire to a bulldozer and a tractor before fleeing the scene. The incident has raised fresh concerns about security along the border regions, with local communities now living in heightened fear.
Authorities have yet to issue an official statement, and no group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far. Security forces are reportedly investigating the matter and searching for the abducted individuals
