The extremist group known as Fitna al-Khawarij continues to terrorise the districts of Lakki Marwat, Tank, and Bannu with relentless attacks on schools and healthcare facilities, turning these vital institutions into battlegrounds.
In Bannu’s Bakakhel area, terrorists seized an educational institution, converting it into a militant base and forcibly shut downing another one, a brazen act that endangers students and undermines the region’s educational foundation. Meanwhile, in the village of Chini Machan Khel, Tank district, militants recently demolished a hospital, stripping residents of critical medical care. Schools in both Chini Machan Khel and Lakki Machan Khel have also been targeted, denying children access to education and dimming hopes for a better future.
These attacks inflict deep wounds on the communities, threatening not just lives but the very social and economic progress of the region. Children are being robbed of their right to education, and innocent civilians are deprived of essential healthcare, a direct attack on the future of these areas.
It is a call to action for the people: stand united against these terrorists and reject any attempts to provide them shelter or support. Those aiding militants as facilitators or collaborators must face strict legal action. The security forces cannot combat this menace alone; local cooperation is crucial.
Failure to resist these extremists and cooperate with law enforcement risks further destruction and chaos that will devastate these regions for generations to come. The fight against terrorism is a collective responsibility, one that demands courage, vigilance, and unwavering resolve from every citizen.
Only through solidarity and decisive action can the communities of Lakki Marwat, Tank, and Bannu hope to reclaim their peace, security, and future.
