Banned outfit Lashkar-e-Islam Pakistan, declared by state as Fitnah al-khawarij, has reportedly established a new terrorist training centre in the Sanda Pal area of Tirah Valley, part of the Khyber tribal district, according to credible sources.

The facility, believed to be operating under the name “Umar Farooq Training Centre,” is allegedly being used to train young recruits in militant tactics and ideology.

Sources revealed that between 18 to 20 underage boys, estimated to be between the ages of 12 and 16, have already undergone training at the site. The recruitment and indoctrination of minors have raised serious concerns among local residents and security analysts alike.

Community members fear that such activities not only threaten the fragile peace of the region but also endanger the future of vulnerable children, pulling them into cycles of violence and extremism.

As of now, no official action has been taken against the camp, but security agencies are said to be monitoring the situation closely, with intelligence suggesting a possible operation could be in the planning stages.

This development marks another alarming sign of militant resurgence in the area, underscoring the urgent need for proactive counter-extremism measures.

Further updates will follow as the situation unfolds.
