Three Khawarij met a violent end when the improvised explosive device (IED) they were attempting to assemble detonated prematurely, killing them on the spot and exposing the deadly consequences of their own terror agenda.
The incident occurred in the Kot Kondo area of Kulachi tehsil in Dera Ismail Khan. According to official sources, the Khawarij were preparing a locally-manufactured IED when it exploded due to a technical fault or mishandling. The blast left all three bodies mutilated, eliminating them before they could carry out any attack.
Two of the Khawarij have been identified as Khawarij Sahib from district Tank and Khawarij Turab from South Waziristan. The identity of the third is being confirmed through forensic procedures.
Security forces swiftly arrived at the site, secured the area, and launched a thorough search operation to rule out the presence of accomplices or additional explosives. Officials termed the incident a stark example of the self-destructive ideology embraced by the Khawarij, calling it a failure of their own violent ambitions.
Law enforcement agencies reiterated their unwavering resolve to crush the Khawarij network and ensure peace and stability in the region.
