Khawarij Ambush Security Convoy in Orakzai; Four Soldiers Martyred, Several Injured

Four personnel of the Orakzai Scouts embraced martyrdom while eight others sustained injuries in a cowardly attack by the Khawarij on a military convoy of the 231 Wing in the Ghunda Mela area near Daboori. The assault, which began earlier today, is still underway with intense exchange of fire between the security forces and the attackers.

According to credible security sources, three Khawarij were killed in retaliatory fire, as troops responded with full force to the unprovoked ambush.

The names of the martyred soldiers have been released as follows: Sepoy Rahat Khan (231 Wing),  Sepoy Ishrat Khan (231 Wing), Sepoy Sanaullah Khan (231 Wing), Havaldar Naseeb (231 Wing)

The injured personnel have been evacuated to a nearby military medical facility, where they are receiving treatment. Additional reinforcements have been dispatched, and a large-scale clearance operation is underway to neutralize the remaining threat in the area.

The Pakistan Armed Forces remain resolute in their mission to defend the homeland, and the sacrifices of the brave sons of the soil stand as a testament to the unyielding fight against the enemies of peace.
