Khariji Commander and Associate Killed in Lakki Marwat Operation

Khariji Commander

In a precise, intelligence-based operation conducted in Tehsil Naurang, security forces successfully eliminated a key khariji commander of the banned outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) or Fitna al-Khawarij, identified as Naik alias Muhammad.

The operation also resulted in the death of a young boy, Nauman, who, according to sources, had been sexually exploited by the commander and was being kept as a personal captive, a disturbing practice known to occur within certain militant circles.

Both individuals were killed during a brief but intense exchange of fire. The commander was believed to be involved in multiple terror activities in the region, and his removal is considered a significant blow to the group’s presence in southern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Security forces have since launched a follow-up clearance operation in the area to track down any remaining militants.

Officials reaffirmed their commitment to targeting terrorist leadership and dismantling support structures, including those involved in human rights violations such as child abuse and exploitation.
