A major intelligence-based operation against the notorious Mano Bhalkani gang continues for the third consecutive day in Sindh’s Kashmore district. Launched under the special directives of SSP Kashmore Zubair Nazir Ahmed Shaikh, the operation is being jointly carried out by Kashmore Police and Sindh Rangers in the areas of Tangwani and Jamal.
The operation, which includes nighttime raids, has seen intense exchange of fire between security forces and gang members. Despite resistance, police strategy and swift action have led to the arrest of three suspected individuals linked to the criminal network.
Led by SDPO Tangwani Waseem Mumtaz Kalhoro, the operation involves all SHOs from the district, CIA units, Madadgar Forces, and Rapid Response Teams, forming a strong multi-agency effort to root out the gang’s influence.
In a bid to permanently dismantle the gang’s operational capability, police have demolished and set fire to hideouts used by the criminals, ensuring they cannot be reused.
A district police spokesperson confirmed that search operations are still ongoing. “Kashmore Police is fully committed to eliminating every last criminal element from the district and restoring lasting peace,” the statement read.
This decisive action reflects law enforcement’s increasing resolve to rid the region of organised crime networks, ensuring safety and stability for local communities.
