In a disturbing act of cross-border terrorism, a powerful explosion targeting Pakistan’s railway infrastructure derailed six bogies of the Jaffer Express in Jacobabad. The explosion occurred near Bolan Pump within the jurisdiction of Saddar Police Station. According to security officials, the blast created a deep crater beneath the track, causing significant damage and forcing an immediate halt to railway operations in the area.

Passengers on board the train were safely evacuated, with authorities confirming that no injuries or fatalities occurred. Restoration work on the damaged track is underway, and enhanced security has been deployed along other vulnerable sections of the railway network.
The Ministry of Railways and the Interior Ministry have both condemned the attack, directing all relevant departments to enhance intelligence coordination and ensure the protection of public transport corridors across the country.
