ISPR Fires Back: Pakistan Denies Indian Claims of Cross-Border Drone, Missile or Aerial Assaults as Baseless Propaganda

In a hard-hitting press conference today, Pakistan’s military spokesperson, DG ISPR Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, delivered a fierce rebuttal to what he described as a “deliberate and fabricated propaganda campaign” by India, denying claims that Pakistan carried out drone, missile, or aerial assaults across the Line of Control (LoC).

Blasting the Indian allegations as “baseless, politically motivated, and devoid of evidence,” Lt. Gen. Chaudhry said India is engaging in a calculated misinformation operation to distract from its own internal turmoil and failures in occupied Kashmir.

“India has a long history of blaming Pakistan for terrorism to extract political mileage,” he stated. “This time is no different. We categorically reject all claims of cross-border aerial or drone attacks, they are nothing but fiction.”

According to the DG ISPR, recent Indian media reports alleging massive Pakistani aerial strikes are part of a state-sponsored disinformation offensive. “Let me be clear: Pakistan has not used drones, missiles, or fighter jets. Our response at the LoC has been limited, defensive, and strictly with small arms, targeting only those Indian posts actively firing on our territory,” he explained.

He revealed that India had recently struck six civilian sites inside Pakistan, resulting in casualties, while simultaneously accusing Pakistan of aggression. “This hypocrisy is astounding. They bomb our civilians, then cry wolf to the world,” he said.

Lt. Gen. Chaudhry emphasized that Pakistan acted responsibly in the wake of the Pahalgam incident, offering a free, neutral investigation into the attack on Indian tourists, an offer India flatly rejected.

“When Pakistan extended a hand for transparency, India turned its back and instead launched a media war,” he said. “If they have any credible evidence, they should present it to a neutral international forum. Until then, their claims remain unproven and unserious.”

He also condemned Indian shelling of civilian areas, including attacks on mosques and the deaths of women and children, calling it a blatant violation of international humanitarian norms.

“India is attempting to weaponize false narratives. Their propaganda machine is in overdrive, but facts cannot be buried under noise.”

Calling for restraint and truth, the DG ISPR warned against further escalation, stressing that Pakistan will defend itself, but remains committed to regional peace.
