The ”Qaumi Paigham Aman” Committee (National Peace Message) of the Government of Pakistan has strongly condemned the suicide attack on Tarlai mosque, which targeted worshippers during prayers. While initial reports indicate 31 casualties and 169 injured, investigations are ongoing to confirm the attacker’s identity.

The Committee described those targeting mosques and imambargahs as enemies of Islam and Pakistan, emphasizing that such attacks threaten not only innocent lives but also national security, peace, and unity. Leaders of the Committee, including Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi, Mufti Abdul Rahim, Allama Arif Hussain Wahidi, and others, expressed solidarity with the nation in standing against extremist elements.

They called for the perpetrators and their facilitators to be brought to justice and reaffirmed that the terrorist agenda will not succeed. The Committee urged citizens to remain united in promoting peace, brotherhood, and religious tolerance. Condolences were extended to the families of the martyrs, and prayers offered for the swift recovery of the injured.
