The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has confirmed that Iranian forces are carrying out precision strikes against military targets inside Israel, identifying the sources of recent aggression against Iran. The operation, codenamed “True Promise III”, was launched in response to attacks that crossed Iran’s red lines and will continue as long as deemed necessary, according to an official statement released by the IRGC.
The statement, published by Mehr News Agency, said the operation specifically targeted Israeli military facilities, including airbases used to launch assaults against Iran, as well as military-industrial centers involved in manufacturing weapons for Israel’s combat missions.
“Ballistic missiles and drones have been used to hit strategic installations that were directly involved in military operations against the resistance forces, and the people of Gaza and Palestine,” the IRGC said.
The force emphasized that these retaliatory strikes are part of Iran’s commitment to defending its national security and sovereignty. “We are taking retribution for the innocent blood that has been spilled. Iran’s security is a red line, and any violation will receive a decisive response,” the statement added.
According to the IRGC, initial field reports, satellite imagery, and intercepted communications confirm that dozens of strategic targets have been accurately hit, underscoring the operation’s effectiveness.
The IRGC asserted that the strikes aim to degrade Israel’s military capabilities and serve as a clear message that any act of aggression against Iran or its allies will not go unanswered.
