Iranian missile strikes have reportedly pierced Israel’s Iron Dome defense system, causing unexpected damage in Tel Aviv, Haifa, and other major cities.
According to U.S. media, the missile barrage inflicted more damage than Israeli officials had anticipated. Civilian confidence in national security has been shaken, as key infrastructure suffered severe impacts.
Analysts point to visible cracks in Israel’s much-touted air defense capabilities, noting that while the Iron Dome remains operational, its limitations have now been exposed.
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated that their missile campaign will continue and that Israel’s defenses are unable to stop the attacks.
Israeli authorities have not publicly addressed the full extent of the damage but are reportedly reviewing the performance and readiness of their defense systems in light of the recent escalation.
