Iran and U.S Acknowledge Pakistan’s Crucial Role in Facilitating Ceasefire Dialogue

According to media reports, U.S. Vice President J. D. Vance expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir for Pakistan’s pivotal role in facilitating the dialogue. He acknowledged that both leaders demonstrated exemplary hospitality and invested significant effort to ensure the negotiations’ progress, describing their involvement as “critical and commendable.”

In a parallel statement, Esmaeil Baghaei, spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, also praised Pakistan’s efforts, noting that Tehran is “deeply grateful” for Islamabad’s unwavering support in making the discussions productive.
