Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the Federal Constabulary Headquarters in Peshawar, where he met officers and personnel of the FC and chaired an important briefing on how the assault by the militants was swiftly foiled.
He praised the courage and resolve of the FC personnel, saying he salutes the sacrifice of the three martyrs who gave their lives to defeat the terrorists’ plans. “Our martyrs thwarted the enemy’s nefarious designs by sacrificing their own lives. Their bravery will never be forgotten,” he said.
Naqvi said the FC constables fought with exceptional courage and sent all three suicide bombers to hell within three minutes. He added that the sacrifices of the martyrs would not go in vain and that their families would be cared for as if they were his own.
He said the fallen personnel had set an eternal example of bravery and successfully repelled the enemy assault. “The way you confronted India sponsored terrorists is commendable,” he noted.
Inspector General Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Zulfiqar Hameed, Commandant Federal Constabulary Nazir Gaara, and senior officials were also present.
