Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Kardgap area of Mastung district in Balochistan, resulting in the neutralization of Fitna-al-Hindustan terrorists and the recovery of weapons and vehicles, according to official sources.
The operation was launched following credible intelligence regarding the presence of armed Fitna-al-Hindustan terrorists in the area. During the course of the operation, security personnel engaged in an intense exchange of fire with the terrorists. As a result, at least four Fitna-al-Hindustan terrorists were killed, while three others were injured.
Security forces took into custody the bodies of the deceased terrorists, the injured individuals, and seized equipment used by them, including two vehicles and two motorcycles. The recovered assets are being examined as part of ongoing investigations.
Officials emphasized that the operation was conducted with precision and in line with established protocols to ensure minimal collateral impact while effectively targeting terrorist elements.
Authorities also noted that misleading information and propaganda circulating on social media regarding the operation are unfounded and do not reflect the ground realities. The public has been urged to rely on verified and official sources for accurate information.
A clearance operation is currently underway in the area to eliminate any remaining threats and to ensure the safety and security of local residents. Security forces remain committed to maintaining peace and stability in the region through continued counter-terrorism efforts.
