In a significant show of dissent, India’s Sikh community has publicly rejected New Delhi’s narrative on the Pahalgam attack, calling it a false flag operation designed to justify war against Pakistan. Sikh leaders, through a series of video messages, have pledged unwavering solidarity with Pakistan and warned the Indian government against using Punjab as a launchpad for war.
Terming the Pahalgam incident a “cruel drama orchestrated by Indian intelligence agencies,” Sikh leaders declared that they would stand by the Pakistan Army in the event of any Indian aggression.
“If India dares to attack Pakistan, we will block its forces from passing through Punjab,” said one Sikh speaker. “This land is not for Modi’s war — it is for serving Pakistan’s soldiers with food, water, and prayers.”
The Sikh leaders also invoked deep religious and historical ties with Pakistan, referring to it as the sacred land of the Gurus. “If even a single inch of Pakistan or the land of our Guru is harmed, we will not spare India,” they warned.
Accusing the Indian government of attempting to divert public attention from its own failures through war hysteria, the Sikh community condemned the Modi-led administration for putting millions of lives at risk for political gain.
This strong statement from the Sikh community follows increasing domestic and international scepticism over India’s claims regarding the Pahalgam attack, which has already been labelled by critics as a politically motivated false flag operation.
