India’s Cowardice Exposed as Pakistan Warns of Dire Consequences for Continued Aggression: Rizwan Saeed Sheikh

Pakistan has issued a stern warning to India after three consecutive nights of cross-border aggression, denouncing New Delhi’s actions as reckless, cowardly, and a blatant violation of international law. Speaking to American media, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, declared that Pakistan will not remain silent in the face of unprovoked attacks on civilian infrastructure.

“India has now attacked for a third night in a row. One of their targets was a cricket stadium. Does India believe terrorists are hiding in cricket fields?” said Ambassador Sheikh in a blistering interview. “This is not just aggression — this is madness.”

Condemning India’s increasingly erratic behavior, the ambassador pointed to New Delhi’s history of destabilizing the region. “Look at what India did in Nepal and Sri Lanka. It’s a pattern of state-sponsored destabilization. Let there be no doubt: Pakistan will respond — decisively and without hesitation.”

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also condemned the latest attacks, calling India’s targeting of Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium “an act of deliberate sabotage against the Pakistan Super League,” adding, “India’s aim was to spread panic and derail a peaceful international sporting event. It is a disgrace to the spirit of sportsmanship.”

On the night of the attack, 31 Indian drones violated Pakistani airspace, including three directed toward Rawalpindi. One drone exploded near the cricket stadium — endangering players, staff, and civilians. In response, the Pakistan Cricket Board convened an emergency session with franchise owners and PSL management, resolving to shift the remaining matches to the United Arab Emirates to ensure the safety of all participants.

The attack came on the heels of earlier strikes by India on May 6 and 7, when five sites across Azad Kashmir and mainland Pakistan were hit, resulting in the martyrdom of nearly 50 Pakistani civilians and dozens injured. In a devastating counteroffensive, Pakistan’s Armed Forces destroyed five Indian fighter jets — including three Rafale aircraft — downed two drones, and obliterated key Indian military installations in Occupied Kashmir, including command posts and check-points.

Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar confirmed that between 40 to 50 Indian soldiers were killed in Pakistan’s retaliatory strikes. “India, true to its cowardice, targeted civilians,” he said. “Pakistan, in contrast, struck only military positions with precision. This is the difference between a rogue state and a responsible nation.”

Pakistan has reiterated its commitment to peace but made it unequivocally clear: any further aggression will be met with force and finality. “India should rid itself of the dangerous illusion that Pakistan will ever accept this behavior. Our patience is not weakness,” Ambassador Sheikh concluded.
