The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has strongly condemned the Indian Armed Forces for launching a series of unprovoked, cowardly, and inhumane attacks on the night of May 6–7, 2025, deliberately targeting innocent Pakistani civilians—including women, children, and the elderly. In this heinous act of state-sponsored terrorism, 40 civilians embraced martyrdom, including 7 women and 15 children, while 121 others were injured, among them 10 women and 27 children.
In response to this grave and unforgivable provocation, the Pakistan Armed Forces launched Operation Bunyan AL Marsoos under the banner of Marka-e-Haq, delivering a crushing and precisely calibrated retaliatory blow. The operation stands as a resounding reminder to India and the world that any attack on Pakistan’s people will be met with overwhelming force and unrelenting resolve.
While defending the nation’s honour with unmatched gallantry, 11 personnel of the Pakistan Armed Forces laid down their lives, and 78 others sustained injuries. The martyrs of the Pakistan Army include Naik Abdul Rehman, Lance Naik Dilawar Khan, Lance Naik Ikramullah, Naik Waqar Khalid, Sepoy Muhammad Adeel Akbar, and Sepoy Nisar. From the Pakistan Air Force, the fallen heroes include Squadron Leader Usman Yousuf, Chief Technician Aurangzeb, Senior Technician Najeeb, Corporal Technician Farooq, and Senior Technician Mubashir.
These courageous sons of the soil offered the ultimate sacrifice in defence of Pakistan’s sovereignty. Their blood has become the foundation of national dignity and defiance in the face of aggression.
The Pakistan Armed Forces, alongside the resilient people of Pakistan, offer heartfelt homage to the martyred civilians and uniformed personnel, and extend prayers for the swift recovery of the injured.
ISPR affirmed that India’s brazen violation of international law and moral norms will not go unanswered. Let there be no illusion in New Delhi: any future misadventure or act of aggression will trigger a swift, full-spectrum, and irreversible response from Pakistan’s Armed Forces. The nation stands united, prepared, and unyielding.
