Indian Troops Resort to Unprovoked Shelling in Neelum Valley; Pakistani Forces Respond Effectively

Indian forces on Wednesday night carried out unprovoked shelling on civilian areas along the Line of Control (LoC) in Neelum Valley’s Jora sector, spreading panic among the local population and forcing residents to seek shelter in safe zones.

The cross-border aggression targeted the villages of Chilyana and Nauseri, where heavy shelling created a state of fear and alarm. However, after a swift and effective response by the Pakistan Army, the Indian artillery fell silent.

This latest episode of ceasefire violation once again exposed India’s disregard for international norms and its continued hostility toward civilian populations living along the LoC.

In a separate development, police sources in Lahore confirmed that a suspected Indian spy drone was shot down near Walton Road. The drone, measuring approximately five to six feet, was reportedly being operated from across the border and was engaged in reconnaissance of sensitive locations within Pakistani territory.

According to officials, the hostile drone was neutralized by jamming its system, thwarting an apparent attempt to gather intelligence for possible sabotage or surveillance.

Security agencies have initiated a detailed investigation into the incident, which further underscores India’s escalating espionage tactics in violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty.
