Indian Aggression Claims 11 Civilian Lives in Azad Kashmir; 56 Injured Including Women and Children

In a blatant act of unprovoked aggression, Indian forces carried out indiscriminate shelling on civilian populations near the Line of Control (LoC) in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, martyring 11 innocent civilians and injuring at least 56 others, including women and children.

Azad Kashmir’s Minister for Information, Mazhar Saeed, condemned the Indian military’s cowardly targeting of non-combatants and termed it a gross violation of international humanitarian law. “The Indian army deliberately shelled civilian settlements during the night, resulting in tragic loss of life and widespread injuries,” he said.

He confirmed that the Government of Pakistan and the Azad Kashmir administration have immediately mobilized relief and evacuation efforts. “We are providing full support to the affected families. Emergency measures have been enforced, and the villages of Ratta Pani and Bor in Neelum Valley have been successfully evacuated. Civilians from Bor and Dattapani have been relocated to safer zones under government supervision,” he added.

Mazhar Saeed called on the international community to break its silence over India’s continuous ceasefire violations and war crimes. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to protect the people of Azad Kashmir and resist Indian aggression with full resolve.
