India Targets Symbol of Pakistan-UAE Friendship in Cowardly Strike on Sheikh Zayed International Airport

In a brazen act of aggression, India launched a strike on Sheikh Zayed International Airport in Rahim Yar Khan, damaging what has long stood as a symbol of enduring friendship between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates.

According media reports, the cowardly Indian attack caused minor structural damage to the airport. Established in 1993 and named after the founding father of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the airport has been a landmark of bilateral cooperation and goodwill between the two brotherly nations.

The Indian assault extended beyond Rahim Yar Khan, with reports of a failed attempt to target Nankana Sahib, a revered site for the Sikh community. Observers view this move as a calculated attempt to undermine Pakistan’s longstanding ties with the global Sikh diaspora.

Following India’s unprovoked aggression, Pakistan delivered a resolute response. In a swift and coordinated counter-operation codenamed Operation Bonyan Mersous, Pakistani forces struck 12 high-value targets deep inside Indian territory. These included the Udhampur Air Base, Pathankot and Sirsa airfields, BrahMos missile storage sites, brigade headquarters at G-Top, and a supply depot in Uri. Additional Indian military positions remain under threat as precision operations by the Pakistan Armed Forces and Air Force continue.

India’s hasty appeals for international intervention amid Pakistan’s decisive retaliation underscore the growing panic in New Delhi. Pakistan reaffirms its commitment to defending its sovereignty and regional stability while continuing to expose India’s destabilizing agenda.
