Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal has said that India has consistently demonstrated obstinacy, while Pakistan is fully prepared to investigate the Pahalgam incident.
Speaking at an event, the minister stated that India appeared to have a premeditated plan to further its own objectives and committed aggression on May 7. “It seems India had already decided on a course of action to achieve its aims, and its aggression on May 7 was a part of that plan,” he said.
He noted that the response of the Pakistan Armed Forces and the nation would be remembered in history. “India’s advanced technology met its match. Our air force pilots defeated some of the most modern systems,” he said.
Highlighting Pakistan’s economic recovery, Ahsan Iqbal said the country had emerged from a major crisis. “On April 1, 2022, we were on the verge of default. There was no way to avoid it without turning to the IMF,” he remarked.
He added that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had taken extremely difficult decisions in the national interest. “The people knew that bitter decisions were inevitable. The nation endured hardships, and today we are on a path to stability,” he concluded.
